Real-life couple Yash and Radhika Pandit's Santhu Straight Forward is an action-romantic movie written and directed by Mahesh Rao, who had earlier directed movies like Dheemaku and Murali Meets Meera. Leading producer K Manju has bankrolled the film.

Popular Tamil and Telugu actor Shaam, who had earlier worked in Tananam Tananam, is playing the negative role in the film, which also has Ananth Nag, Girish, Thilak Shekhar, Sihi Kahi Chandru and others in the cast.

The movie has Andrew's cinematography and KM Prakash's editing. V Harikrishna has scored the music and a few songs have turned out to be hits in the album.

Santhu Straight Forward marks the fourth reunion of Radhika Pandit and Yash. The couple started their acting career in Ashok Kashyap's television serial Nandagokula. Incidentally, they entered films together in Shashank's Moggina Manasu in 2008.

They have also worked in hit movies like Yogaraj Bhat's Drama and Mr and Mrs Ramachari. The fans of both the actors hope that their chemistry will work again in this film, which is releasing in Karnataka on October 28 and clashing with Sudeep and Upendra's Mukunda Murari, the Kannada remake of Bollywood's Oh My God.
