According to the official website, SantaPhone is built using Twilio's Programmable Voice and Programmable Messaging APIs that will help parents and guardians to find out what their child want as a gift this holiday season. Parents can sign up for the project with their phone number and email address, and also schedule a call. Twilio will call on the given number at the scheduled time so that the child can talk to Santa's helper for the gift.

The website will send a recording of the call on the given email address. They will also send an MMS of the North Pole on your phone. The calls sent to the parents can be deleted, but for that, they will have to request Twilio. According to reports, the company will be donating $1 per call for the first 10,000 calls to Toys for Tots.

With SantaPhone, Twilio has joined a list with other tech companies that help kids talk to Santa or find out where Santa is during the holiday season. Google's Santa Tracker helps kids to keep a track of Santa from around the world.

Another interesting Santa Tracker website is NORAD (North American Aerospace Defense Command). NORAD online Santa tracker will give live updates of Santa's whereabouts. Every year NORAD Santa tracker receives millions of unique visitors from across the world during Christmas. The NORAD staff also receives thousands of calls and e-mails from children asking Santa's whereabouts.
