Here's some good news for fans of popular television actress Sanaya Irani. The actress, who was last seen on "Rangrasiya," will soon make a comeback. According to reports, Sanaya has been roped in for Star Plus' upcoming show, which is tentatively titled "Meenu Mausi."
The show is reportedly based on an unmarried woman who dedicated her life for the upbringing of her sister's children. "Sanaya Irani will soon make her comeback to fiction with an upcoming Star Plus show, which is tentatively titled, 'Meenu Mausi'. The show would be about an unmarried woman, who would devote her entire life to focus on the upbringing of her sister's three children," a source said India Forums.
Apparently, Sanaya had been paired opposite Aditya Redij, who was last seen on "Meri Awaaz Hi Pehchaan Hai." While no confirmation has been made by the makers or Sanaya regarding this, the report can at best be considered as mere speculation.
Sanaya became the audience's favourite with her role of Khushi in "Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?" opposite Barun Sobti, who played the role of Arnav. The characters Arnav and Khushi won hearts with their amazing chemistry.
After "Rangrasiya," Sanaya participated on dance reality show "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 8" and in January this year she got married to her longtime boyfriend and actor Mohit Sehgal in Goa. Since then the "Miley Jab Hum Tum" actress has been away from the small screen.
