Samsung India has reportedly begun rolling out Android v4.3 Jelly Bean update to the 2012 marquee phablet Galaxy Note 2.

Earlier in the month, some Galaxy Note 2 owner in Kashmir had claimed the v4.3 Jelly Bean update package was available at a local Samsung service centre. Now, Samsung's dedicated blog SamMobile has confirmed the Galaxy Note 2 (GT-NT105) 3G variants have begun receiving the firmware, via OTA (Over-The-Air) and also available through Kies PC suite.

Since the debut of Galaxy Note 2 in late 2012, the phablet has been running on the native v4.1.2 OS. The device was due for a v4.2.2 update this year, instead Samsung has decided to directly roll out the final Jelly Bean version.

Adding cheers to fans, the website claims the official update available with them is more stable than the bug-ridden firmware, which was released to Galaxy S3 a couple of weeks ago.
