World smartphone leader, Samsung is reported to reveal the launch and price details of the recently unveiled flagship handset Galaxy S5 in India this week.
Samsung community website, SamMobile has claimed that the South Korean firm will reveal the Galaxy S5 India price on 27 March and possibly open the pre-order window for subcontinent buyers ahead of the official 11 April release.
The revelations comes just days after the company announced to showcase Galaxy S5 and its companion devices Gear 2, Gear 2 Neo and smart-band Gear Fit at exclusive Samsung Experience Stores, mobile carrier shops and some authorized retail outlets in selected 61 countries (US, Switzerland, Brazil, China, Germany and the United Kingdom) this month to give preview demo to consumers before they can purchase.
In the announcement, company didn't mention if India would also be part of the program, but now, if SamMobile is to be believed, then Indian consumers will also have an opportunity to explore the new Galaxy S5 hands-on this week.
Samsung 2014 smartphone Galaxy S5's marquee features include finger-print sensor (on home buttonoemhome), water-and-dust resistant body (IP67 certifications), heart-rate monitor (below camera module), new and faster 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 processor, download boaster, fifth generation Wi-Fi (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac HT80, MIMO (2x2), faster wireless data transfer and 0.3-second superfast auto-focus camera feature.
