07:27 pm (IST): Will the Galaxy Note 7 have a new look? Samsung hasn't revealed any detail about the device but reports have claimed that it will look more or less like the Galaxy Note 5.

The much-awaited day has finally arrived. Samsung is all set to unveil its next-generation device, the Galaxy Note 7. The company has scheduled "7 Galaxy Unpacked" event at 8:30 p.m. IST (11:00 a.m. EDT) on Tuesday and it will be live streamed.

All eyes are on the Galaxy Note 7 following the stupendous success of the Note series in the past. The device is expected to release into the markets a few days after unveiling.

The South Korean technology giant is tight-lipped on the device but reports have claimed that the new flagship handset will feature both fingerprint sensor and iris scanner. It is expected to sport a 5.8-inch screen with 2,560x1,440 pixels, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 823 processor, an Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system, a 64GB/128GB internal memory (with microSD card slot) and a 10 nanometer 6GB RAM. It may also feature a fingerprint sensor, an iris scanner, a duel camera and a 4,000mAh battery.
