Technology giant LG launched its flagship smartphone G2 (16GB) in the Indian market for ₹41,500 last week.

With the entry of the LG phablet, the competition among MNC manufacturers in the top-end smartphone market is set to intensify. Samsung is especially said to feel the heat as the competitively priced LG G2 comes loaded with a powerful chipset, high-end camera and features like the smart gesture control which is seen in Samsung's new phablet Galaxy Note 3.

Here is comparison of sepcifications between Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and LG G2:

Display:

Samsung's new phablet sports a 5.7-inch full HD (1920x1080p) super AMOLED display having a pixel density of 386 ppi (pixels per inch).

On the other hand, the 5.2-inch LG smartphone flaunts a True IPS LCD display with full HD resolution with pixel density of 423 ppi.  It is to be noted that the LG phone has a smaller body making the display sharper. Nonetheless, Galaxy Note 3 is still found capable of playing rich video content.

Processor, RAM and Storage:

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 [SM-N900] ships with Exynos 5 Octa 5420, an eight-core processor (packs two quad-cores-1.6GHz and 1.9GHz), Mali T628 MP6 Graphics engine, 3GB RAM (highest in the industry) and 32GB inbuilt memory (can expand up to 64GB).

LG G2 is no less of a competitor; it too houses a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 series quad-core processor which can clock a CPU speed up to 2.26GHz. The chipset is supported by Adreno 330 graphics engine, 2GB RAM and 16GB (32GB variant is also available in the market) storage space.

Galaxy Note 3 and G2 stand even in this aspect as they each feature a high-end 13.0-megapixel camera with pretty much the same functionality.

LG G2 features a 13.0-megapixel camera with LED flash support, OIS (Optical Image Stabilizations) and HDR (High Dynamic Range), full HD 1080p video recording at 60 fps speed and 8X zoom.

On the other hand, Galaxy Note 3 has BSI sensor, HDR, full HD video recording and 'High CRI-LED' flash support which helps in delivering good quality snapshots in a low-light environment.

Both devices house superior front cameras which are capable of recording full HD (1920 x1020p) videos.
