While the spotlight from Samsung's latest Galaxy Note 3 is yet to fade away, the Korean tech firm's another Note device, Galaxy Note 12.2 has given a glimpse of itself in the FCC documents.

Codenamed SM-P900, the device is said to be unveiled in 2014, probably during the CES 2014 event in January.

Some of the observations made from the dimensions hint that the Note device will arrive with a stylus and in LTE/Non-LTE variants.

The device is said to go into production stage by the end of 2013 for a successful launch in 2014. Some of the specifications of the device revealed by Sam Mobile include:

-2560 x 1600 resolution display
-Snapdragon 800 processor/Exynos 5420 processor
-3GB RAM
-Android 4.3 Jelly bean or 4.4 Kitkat OS
-S-Pen Stylus

Based on the device specifications, the Galaxy Note 12.2 is said to follow the recently introduced Galaxy Tab 10.1 (2014 Edition) closely. Since the screen resolution, processor and RAM go hand-in-hand in both the tablets, Galaxy Note 12.2 will sport a bigger screen giving a stiff competition to Microsoft Surface tablets.

The price of Galaxy Note 12.2 is not known yet, however one can expect it to stay close with Galaxy Tab 10.1 (2014 Edition)

In related news, Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has emerged as the leading and the most desired handset in India. According to an opinion poll by Tech Tree, Galaxy Note won the race by 26 percent followed closely by Nokia Lumia 1020 with 25 percent, Apple iPhone 5S (20 percent), Sony Xperia Z1 (19 percent), iPhone 5C (seven percent) and Galaxy Gear with three percent.
