Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime, which was released in India and some Asian countries in September, is now being released in the United States. The black coloured variant mid-range smartphone is available for purchase on Amazon for $285 (Rs 18,790).

Galaxy J7 Prime is a metal-clad device measuring 151.5x74.9x8.1mm in dimension, weighs 167g, and comes with features like S Power planning mode (reserve battery for calls, extended battery time and forward calls when no battery), S secure with folder lock option, S bike mode and ultra data saving mode. It sports a 5.5-inch full HD screen with 1,920x1,080p (401 ppi pixel density) and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4 2.5D shield.

The device is powered by a 1.6GHz Samsung Exynos 7870 octa-core CPU backed by sumptuous 3GB RAM, comes packed with a 16GB internal memory and runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system. It houses a 13MP camera with f/1.9 aperture, 28mm, autofocus, LED flash, CMOS sensor and full HD video recording, an 8MP main camera with f/1.9 aperture, and a 3,300mAh battery.

In terms of connectivity, Galaxy J7 Prime supports fingerprint sensor, dual-SIM slots, Bluetooth v4.1, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), GLONASS and A-GPS.
