Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016) has been released in China. It is yet to come to India, but its launch appears to be not far off, as it has been spotted on Zauba, a website that keeps track of imports and exports in India.

The South Korean technology giant hasn't announced the price of the Galaxy J5 (2016) but it is expected to be between Rs. 11,000 and Rs. 12,000 in India, which means it will take on the likes of Xiaomi Redmi Note 3, Lenovo K4 Note and LeEco Le 1s.

The Redmi Note 3 and Lenovo K4 Note are priced at Rs. 11,999, while LeEco Le 1s comes with a price tag of Rs. 10,999. So, the Galaxy J5 (2016) is expected to give these devices a run for their money when it is launched in India.

Samsung Galaxy J5

The Galaxy J5 (2016) comes with a metal frame, sports a 5.2-inch HD Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with 720x1,280 pixels (282 ppi pixel density), measures 145.8x72.3x8.1 mm in dimension and weighs 159 g. Under the hood, it has a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, Android 5.1 Lollipop, 16GB internal memory (expandable up to 128GB via microSD card), and 2GB RAM.

The device comes with a 13MP main camera with features like f/1.9 aperture, 28mm, autofocus and LED flash, a 5MP front-snapper with f/1.9 aperture and LED flash, and a 3,100mAh battery.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 3

The device has a metal unibody, a 5.5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 1,080x1,920 pixels (403 ppi pixel density), a Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 processor and Android 5.0.2 Lollipop. It comes packed with 16GB/32GB internal storage (no microSD card slot) and 3GB RAM, a 16MP main camera with f/2.0 aperture, a 5MP secondary camera with f/2.0, and a 4,000mAh battery.

Lenovo K4 Note

It has a metallic frame with a plastic body and sports a 5.5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 1,080x1920 pixels (401 ppi pixel density). Under the hood, it has a Mediatek MT6753 processor clocking at 1.3 GHz, Android 5.1 Lollipop with Vibe UI 3.0, 16GB internal memory (expandable up to 128GB), 3GB RAM, a 13MP main camera with f/2.2 aperture, a 5MP front-snapper, and a 3,000mAh battery.

LeEco Le 1s

LeEco Le 1s has a 5.5-inch Full-HD IPS In Cell display with 1,080x1,920 pixels (403 ppi pixel density), a Mediatek Helio X10 processor clocking 2.2GHz, Android 5.1 Lollipop-based eUi OS, 16GB/32GB internal storage (no microSD card slot) and 3GB RAM. It has a 13MP main camera with ISOCELL 5P Lens, a 5MP front-snapper with f/2.0 aperture, and a 3,000mAh battery.
