It has been reported that Samsung's latest offering, the Galaxy C5, will be exclusive for the Chinese market, but the device has been spotted on Zuaba, a website that tracks imports and exports in India, hinting that it could be released in other regions too. The handset will take on devices like the Xiaomi Mi 5, OnePlus 2 and Google Nexus 5X in the Indian market if released in the country.

The Galaxy C5 comes in two versions, one with a 32GB internal memory priced at 2199 Yuan, which is around Rs. 22,500, and the other with a 64GB storage that costs 2399 Yuan (Rs. 24,500). The device may come with a different price tag for India if released, but it is very unlikely to be below Rs. 20,000.

Interestingly, the Xiaomi Mi 5 (32GB) is priced at Rs. 24,999, the Google Nexus 5X (16 GB) at Rs. 23,990 (Rs. 27,990 on Google Store), and the OnePlus 2 16GB at Rs. 20,999 and Rs. 22,999 for the 32GB version. So, the Galaxy C5 is very likely to take on these devices if released in India.

Samsung Galaxy C5

It has a complete metal body and features fingerprint sensor on the home button, sports a 5.2-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display with 1,920×1,080 pixels (424 ppi pixel density), powered by an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor, houses an Adreno 405 GPU and runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. It also has a 32GB/64GB internal memory (expandable up to 128GB via microSD card), a 16MP main camera with f/1.9 aperture, an 8MP front-snapper with f/1.9 aperture, and a 2600mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 technology.

Xiaomi Mi 5 (32GB)

It is a feature-rich device with a fingerprint sensor and metallic frame. It has a 5.15-inch full HD screen with 1,920x1,080 pixel (428 ppi pixel density), a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, an Android 6.0 Marshmallow with MIUI v7.0, and a 32GB internal memory and a 3GB RAM. It also comes with a 6MP Sony IMX298 main camera, a 4MP front-snapper with 2µm pixel size and a 3,000mAh with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 technology.

OnePlus 2

The device has an aluminium and magnesium-made body. It sports a 5.5-inch LTPS IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display with 1,080x1,920 pixels (401 ppi pixel density), powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, houses Adreno 430 GPU and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system.

It comes in two variants: a 16GB internal memory with 3GB RAM and a 64GB internal storage with 4GB RAM. It also has a 13MP main camera with f/2.0 aperture and OIS, a 5MP front snapper with f/2.4 aperture and a 3,300mAh battery.

LG Google Nexus 5X (16 GB)

It sports a 5.2-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 1,080x1,920 pixels (423 ppi pixel density), powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor, and run Android 6.0 Marshmallow (upgradable to Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow). It also comes packed with a 16GB internal memory (no microSD card slot), a 2GB RAM , a 12.3MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, a 5MP front-snapper with f/2.0 aperture and a 2,700mAh battery.
