Samsung is tight-lipped on its upcoming device dubbed as the Galaxy A9 but leaks have exposed major details, including features and price. The device is now spotted on the company's official page for Iran, giving a hint that its release date is near.

The news of Samsung Galaxy A9 release came a few days after a device bearing model number SM-A9000 (believed to be the Galaxy A9) was spotted on Zauba, a website that keeps track of imports and exports in India.

According to information spotted on Zauba, six units of a device with model number SM-A9000, each with a price tag of Rs 23,402 (which is expected to change when it hits the stores), arrived Bangalore, India from South Korea for "R&D purpose & evaluation & not for retail sale."

Now, Samsung Iran website (via GForgames) has listed the Galaxy A9 "next to a December 1st launch date". So, it appears like the Galaxy A8 successor will be launched soon, possibly on 1 December, much before the flagship smartphone Galaxy S7 is unveiled.

According to reports, the Samsung Galaxy A7 will have a metal-clad body and sport either a 5.5-inch full-HD AMOLED screen with 1920 x 1080 pixels (401 ppi pixel density).
