Samsung appears to be planning to release the Galaxy A9 Pro (2016) outside China, and it could soon hit Indian stores if reports are anything to go by. The device is an upgraded version of the Galaxy A9 (2016) and was released in March. It is available only in China at present.

The device has been spotted on Zauba, a website that keeps track of imports and exports in India, hinting that it could be released outside of China, according to Tablety (via GSMArena). It went on to say that a Polish retailer has started taking pre-orders for the Galaxy A9 Pro (2016).

The Galaxy A9 Pro (2016) was released in China at a price of 3,499 Yuan (around $533/Rs. 36,000). It sports a 6-inch Full HD Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with 1,080x1,920 pixels (367 ppi pixel density) and runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with TouchWiz UI out of the box.

Under the hood, the Galaxy A9 Pro (2016) has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor clocking at 1.8GHz, a 32GB internal memory (expandable up to 128GB via microSD card), a 4GB RAM, a 16MP main camera with f/1.9 aperture, autofocus, OIS (optical image stabilization) and LED flash, an 8MP front-snapper with f/1.9 aperture and a 5,000mAh battery.
