Samsung Galaxy A8(2016) tipped to receive Android Nougat soonSamsung India e-Store

Back in January, Samsung listed a number of Galaxy S and A series phones eligible for Android Nougat and since then, it has released the update to a handful of them. Now, the company is prepping to deploy the firmware to the Galaxy A8(2016).

Samsung Galaxy A8(2016), which debuted with Android Marshmallow in October last year, has been spotted (courtesy, SamMobile) on GFXbench with the Android Nougat hinting, Samsung has commenced software testing to weed out bugs and also check whether it is optimised enough to make the Galaxy A8 function at its optimal best.

When will Samsung release the final public version of Android Nougat to Galaxy A8?

Usually, Samsung or any other mobile-makers take a month or two to test firmwares for bugs and do custom optimisation so that it works well to that particular phone model. So, Galaxy A8(2016) owners can expect to receive the update notification before the end of June.
