Her glamorous performance in the Vijay starrer movie has been praised by critics and audience. To add cherry on the cake, people have appreciated the project for its social concern as it raises a problem faced by farmers.

Samantha was seen in glamorous roles in her last two Tamil movies ("Anjaan and "Kaththi"). Now, the actress says that she is moving on to performance-oriented roles. She tweeted, "Phew that's one less battle to fight. A HIT in Tamil. Now time to get my hands dirty. Off with the glam on to the performance. 2015"
The actress will be now moving towards '10 Enradhukulla' starring Vikram. It is an off-beat thriller film directed by Vijay Milton of "Goli Soda" fame. She has high expectations from the movie and believes that there is a lot of scope for acting in the film. Interestingly, the film will be produced by AR Murugadoss, who has directed her in latest film "Kaththi".
Her other project is in Telugu, which will be directed by Trivikram Srinivas. The movie star Allu Arjun and Upendra in the lead roles.
