Call of Duty to get new installment in November 2014.callofduty.com

In a new development that could potentially excite gamers across the world, the final downloadable content (DLC) for the popular Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is confirmed to hit Xbox One consoles on October 6 along with seeding to PC platforms. The fourth and last DLC for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is termed Salvation which has already seeded to Sony PS4 gamers in September this year.

A major notable aspect, introduced by Salvation, will be the all new multiplayer maps that number as many as four. The second interesting aspect is the new Zombies chapter that is termed Revelations.

For the uninitiated, Salvation DLC for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 introduces the below new maps:

  • Citadel: Revolves around an ancient castle that is currently ruined and believed to be haunted. Citadel was also home to a powerful sorcerer, once upon a time.
  • Outlaw: Outlaw is basically a western style remastering of the popular Standoff map that was present in Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. Outlaw is considered by loyalists as a hot property in Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.
  • Rupture: This is a high-tech facility is a re-imagined version of the war classic outskirts in the Call of Duty world.
  • Micro: Micro involves players to navigate larger-than-life food items and dinnerware in this bite-size battlefield.

In related developments, it is now known that Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will be officially released on November 4. This release coincides with the release of the remastered edition of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.
