While Salman Khan's upcoming movie "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" is slated to release on 12 November, the makers of Hollywood film "Spectre", starring Daniel Craig, have postponed its India release to 20 November.

The upcoming James Bond film was supposed to be released on 6 November in India, but it will now hit the screens a week after the release of "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo", as tweeted by trade analyst Taran Adarsh.

Salman's last release was "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" which broke several box office records and is still running well even after 50 days of its release. Not only in India, the actor's craze was felt in the overseas markets also as the worldwide collection of "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" crossed Rs 600 crore.

The superstar is currently prepping for his upcoming release "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo", which also features Sonam Kapoor. The film is one of the most awaited flicks this year.

Directed by Sooraj Barjatya, "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" marks the union of Salman Khan and the filmmaker after a gap of 15 years. Their last film together was "Hum Aapke Hain Kaun", which was a blockbuster.

Considering Salman's popularity both in India and overseas, trade experts are expecting that "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" will certainly cross Rs 300 crore mark at the box office.

So it won't be a surprise if it is made official that the release of "Spectre" was deferred to avoid its clash with "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo".

Earlier, the release date of Brad Pitt's "Fury" was also delayed in India by a week to avoid a clash with Shah Rukh Khan's "Happy New Year".
