The much-awaited first look poster and the promo of Salman Khan's upcoming film "Kick" is likely to be released next week.

Fans have been eagerly waiting to see the first look of the film, which is reportedly the remake of a Telugu flick with the same name. Much to the delight of Salman's fans, the first look will be released next week. "Kick" director and producer Sajid Nadiadwala had confirmed it to film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh.

"Countdown begins... Sajid Nadiadwala informs me, first look poster + promo of Salman Khan starrer #Kick will be launched next week," Adarsh tweeted.

"Kick" has Jacqueline Fernandez, Randeep Hooda, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Mithun Chakraborty, Archana Puran Singh and Sumona Chakravarti in supporting roles.

The film is all set to hit the screens on 25 July. Earlier, there were reports that the Salman starrer will be out in theatres on 27 July, but the release date was advanced by two days.

"Kick" will be Salman's second release of the year after "Jai Ho," which hit theatres on 24 January. "Jai Ho," which was the remake of Telugu film titled "Stalin," performed well at the box office. However, it failed to beat the collections of other biggies like "Dhoom 3", "Krrish 3" and "Chennai Express."

With "Kick" gearing up for release in July, it will be interesting to see if the film will be able to impress the audience and earn good collections. It will be releasing around Eid, a period which is considered lucky for Salman at the box office. In the last few years, the actor's several films have released during the Eid period and set the cash registers ringing.

Salman took a break last year as no films of the actor was released in 2013. The action comedy film "Kick" has been extensively shot in foreign locations and recently the team wrapped up a schedule in Poland.

Producer-director Nadiadwala is apparently taking care that the project lives up to the expectations of the fans. He has roped in nine specialists to work on the film's post production work.

"Sajid has hired a team of specialists to give finishing touches to the film's promo. These include a team who will work on the movie's VFX as well as a few others who will edit the promo. They have been flown down especially to work on the trailer of the film, which the makers plan to release soon," an industry insider told the Hindustan Times.

"Kick" music will be composed by Himesh Reshammiya and the film will be distributed by UTV Motion Pictures.
