Director Sooraj Barjatya earlier said that he is working on a script with Salman Khan and the latest report suggests that the actor has given his nod to the project. Also joining the team will be music director Himesh Reshammiya.

During an award show, Sooraj told reporters that he has a script for Salman and it's again a family drama. And now, Spotboye.com reports that Salman and Sooraj were happy with Himesh's work and thus have signed the music director for their next project.

There were reports that Salman has asked Sooraj to try his hands at action drama and also work on the schedule of the film. However, denying all the reports, Sooraj said that he is again making a family drama with Salman.

"I have discussed an idea with Salman Khan and I am currently working on the script. It is definitely not an action film, so I don't know who started these rumours. I will be directing Salman in my next film," Sooraj said during the Zee Cine Awards, according to Catch News.

Sooraj, who has made family films like "Vivah," "Hum Aapke Hain Kaun" and "Hum Saath Saath Hain," said that he will continue to make movies in the same genre. The king of family dramas said that there are several other angles of a nuclear family and he would like to explore them.

"I have always been interested to make family films because I think there are a lot of stories which are left to be said in a family drama. I am not just talking about joint families, but there are so many stories about nuclear families as well, so I would like to stick to the genre of making family dramas," he added.

When Salman was asked about working with Sooraj again, the "Sultan" actor said that he is indeed working on a new film with the director.

"He's a brother to me. Whoever I am is all because of him. He gave me a great break with Maine Pyar Kiya and people started noticing me since then. Yes, there's a new film on cards because I am always ready to work with him. It's a lifelong contract," Salman told reporters at the award ceremony.
