Salman Khan who is riding high with the success of recently released "Kick", will reportedly fly to Toronto to promote his first international production venture "Dr Cabbie". The film also stars Khan's ex-girlfriend and actress Katrina Kaif's sister, Isabel Kaif.

The decision of Khan to travel for the promotion tour was taken by the makers in a move to upstage the Toronto International Film Festival. Khan will be off for a three-day tour to the city from 28 August.

The film directed by Jean-Francois Pouliet was scheduled to premier at the Toronto International Film Festival, which begins on 4 September. But as many Bollywood films is up for screening at the fest, lead actor of "Dr Cabbie", Vinay Virmani, and his entrepreneur father, Ajay Virmani, have decided to steal the Indian crowd at the fest by inviting the popular bollywood star and the producer of "Dr Cabbie" to promote the film in Toronto.

Since Khan has a huge followers both in India and abroad, the makers are confident that if the actor promotes the film, it would create a tremendous buzz among the movie-lovers.

Although, the makers are tight-lipped regarding Khan's list of activities during the three-day visit, the buzz is that "Being Human" star will spend a majority of his time interacting with some Indian cab drivers in the city.

"That's what the film is about. It is about the adventures of a young taxi driver in Canada who moonlights as a doctor. Local cabbies would be sharing their experiences with Salman. It's going to be three days of non-stop dhamaal (fun) with Salman and his Canadian fans," a source told Bollywood Country, according to IANS Live.

"Dr Cabbie" is Isabel's first film and the pretty actress was reportedly launched by Khan himself much like he helped his former ladylove Katrina in her film career.

Apart from Isabel, the movie also features Vinay Virmani, Kunal Nayyar from Big Bang Theory fame and Adrianne Palicki in important roles. According to reports, Isabel is the second lead actress and is paired opposite Nayyar in the film.

"Dr Cabbie" is a quirky comedy with a flavour of Bollywood and is slated to release worldwide on 19 September. The film is said to be a $25 million project and will be distributed by Eros International across India.
