Salman Khan might join the cast of "Judwaa 2" to make a cameo appearance. The sequel of the hit movie of the '90s features Varun Dhawan in the lead role.
While the original movie "Judwaa" starred Salman as the protagonist, producer Sajid Nadiadwala said that it will be interesting to have the actor on board in a special appearance in "Judwaa 2."
"It would be very interesting to have Salman Khan on board for a cameo in 'Judwaa 2.' Like I said, we are currently working on the script and we would take a call once script is locked. In my opinion, cameos are only good when they are as impactful as Akshay Kumar in 'Dishoom.' Without that, they make no sense to me," Pinkvilla quoted Sajid.
The producer also said that 70 percent of the script of the film is ready and the shooting of the movie will begin in early 2017. "Judwaa 2" will also have two actresses, like it did in the original.
Much has been speculated about the female cast of "Judwaa 2." Names of several actresses have been coming up as the ones who would feature in the sequel opposite Varun. Recent reports had suggested that Alia Bhatt and Shraddha Kapoor are being considered for the female lead roles in the film.
Earlier, Jacqueline Fernandez and model Aisha Sharma were also said to be in talks with the producer regarding "Judwaa 2." However, there has not been any confirmation on the leading ladies of the much-awaited sequel. The first instalment of the movie "Judwaa" (1997) featured Salman in double roles who was seen romancing Karisma Kapoor and Rambha. The action comedy was a big hit at the box office.
