The year 2014 has started on a good note for Bollywood's eternal bachelor Salman Khan, with his Facebook fan page crossing a massive 12 million likes.
Salman, with the new milestone of 12 million fans, has surpassed the total likes earned by Shah Rukh Kahn and Amitabh Bachchan, who have earlier been ruling the social networking site.
The actor, who made his Facebook entry in September 2012, is now believed to be the most popular Bollywood star, enjoying the highest number of followers on FB. The FB page of Salman also beat popular stars like Aamir Khan. Bollywood's most influential star Amitabh has 8,354,246 followers on FB, while the King of Hindi film industry Shah Rukh has 6,044,153 followers.
Salman, who also stays in touch with his fans through Twitter, has been trending on the micro-blogging site from Thursday morning with the hashtag #12MillionSalmaniacsOnFB.
Salman, who made headlines with reality show Bigg Boss 7, is expected to give a visual treat to his fans with the upcoming movie Jai Ho, which is set to release on 24 January.
