Katrina Kaif's over-hyped bikini pictures has found a new taker with ex-flame Salman Khan speaking out in her defence, saying that publishing private pictures is wrong.

In a recent interview to Zoom Tv, the actor was asked about his opinion on Katrina Kaif's bikini pictures that were leaked online. To everyone's surprise, the actor replied coolly extending his support for his ex-girlfriend.

"If such a picture of your's, your mother's or sister's is out like this, how would you feel?" he said, adding, "Showing such private pictures to the world is wrong. It is a disgusting thing to do. Even if such a picture of your boyfriend is out , you wouldn't like it. So I think, if you would not like it, it's the same for others too, they would not like it."

"Whatever is shown in films, its fine up to that but exposing someone's personal life in this way is not correct. And no one has the right to infringe the other person's personal space," he went on to say.

Salman also talked about Katrina's open letter to the media, saying, "Yes, I have read the letter. It was written beautifully and was very sensible."

So, irrespective of the reports that Katrina was given cold vibes and was left unattended at Salman's recent Ganpati Puja, one may conclude that the actor spoke like a true-gentleman, continuing to speak in support of his ex flame.

Meanwhile, Katrina's rumoured boyfriend, Ranbir Kapoor had a lighter take on the photos pictures.

"Katrina looks beautiful and Ibiza too is a beautiful place. You should go there," said the young actor, who was clicked with Katrina during their holiday in Ibiza, Spain.

There have been varied reactions from celebrities like Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra ever since the couple's pictures made its way to the media. The pictures became a talking point with Ranbir's parents Rishi and Neetu Kapoor expressing displeasure over the pictures.
