TV actor Sai Balal aka Bhaiyyaji of hit TV show "Udaan" has been accused of sexually harassing co-star Helen Fonseca, who played the role of Saroj in the daily soap.
Talking to The Times of India, Fonseca said the actor first began with sleazy text messages and later graduated to porn videos. Unable to handle it calmly anymore, the actress then complained to the production unit, which then pushed her to a secondary role in the show.
"I was expecting support from the cast and the crew, but that didn't happen. The show is a closed chapter for me," she added. Fonseca has earlier worked in "Savdhaan India" and "CID".
However, the claims were rubbished by Balal, who said he is a "clean" actor. "It's not true. Please come to the set to see how clean I am."
Interestingly, this isn't the first time an actress has been sexually harassed. Director of prominent TV show "Jodha Akbar", Santram Verma, was accused of assaulting lead actress Paridhi Sharma. According to a TOI report, he is known for throwing his weight around and was reportedly said to have harassed a newbie on the sets.
