Sachin Tendulkar's 199th Test Match: Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan Likely to Attend

Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar's 199^th Test match that will be held at the Kolkata's Eden Garden on 10 November will be an eventful match as stars like Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh are expected to attend the game.

Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) is trying their best to convince the two leading actors of Bollywood - Big B and SRK- to attend Sachin's penultimate Test match against West Indies. 

Apparently, Amitabh along with his wife Jaya Bachchan, Shah Rukh and Kamal Haasan will be there in the city of joy to attend the inaugural ceremony of Kolkata International Film Festival on 10 November.

"The cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar will be playing the last day of his 199th Test match at the Eden Gardens on that day," Chief Minister Mamta Banerjee wrote on official Facebook page.

"Kolkata's showpiece event, the inauguration of the 19th Kolkata International Film Festival will also be held on that day in the august presence of Iconic Amitabh ji, Jaya Ji and their family. Bengal's Brand Ambassador Shah Rukh Khan and Kaamal Hassan will also be attending the inaugural ceremony amongst a galaxy of film personalities."

A senior CAB official confirmed the news to Mail Today saying that they are trying their level best to bring in the actors so that they can share the stage with Sachin during the presentation ceremony.

"Yes, we are trying our best to have Amitabh and Shahrukh grace the auspicious occasion. Luckily for us, the two will be in Kolkata on November 10 to be a part of the film festival. We are trying to make them agree to come to the Eden Gardens on November 9 - so that they could be a part of our celebrations on Day 4, and then join the rest of the BCCI officials and West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee during the presentation ceremony on November 10," the official told Mail Today.

If CAB convinces the actors then it will be a double treat not only for Kolkata people but for all the Sachin fans.
