Mohammad Nazim, who played the role of Ahem Modi on "Saath Nibhaana Saathiya," will soon be re-entering the show. While it was reported that the writers had penned down an interesting track to reintroduce Nazim on the show, latest reports say that Nazim will make a comeback as a new character and not Ahem.
Nazim will apparently re-enter the show as a fun-loving Punjabi guy, who is Ahem's look-alike. The actor would make a grand entry during the Janmashtami celebrations. "Nazim will enter as a fun-loving Punjabi guy with full attitude. He will be a complete contrast to Ahem. He will have a typical dialect and lingo, and will be talkative to the core," a source told Tellychakkar.com.
However, Nazim chose not to comment on his new character. "Well, nothing is clear at the moment on when I will start shoot. I should have all the details about my character in the next few days," the actor said.
Readers would recall that Ahem was shown to be killed in a car accident as the makers wanted to bring some freshness to the plot and introduce a new twist in the storyline. The new twist, and Khalid Siddiqui's entry as the new lead, didn't go down well with the audience, resulting in a drop in the show's Television Rating Points (TRPs).
The viewers as well as the makers were not impressed with Khalid aka Krishna and his chemistry with the female protagonist, Devoleena Bhattacharjee (Gopi). With the viewers missing the favourite jodi (Ahem and Gopi) the show makers decided to bring Nazim back on the show.
It now remains to be seen if Nazim's character will eventually marry Gopi or not.
