The hack and slash game, Ryse: Son of Rome from developer Crytek and publisher Microsoft Studios, has given up plans to introduce map editing feature called challenge editor.
The map editor was supposed to be released as a SmartGlass companion app feature, where players would be able to create their own challenges in the map in the game's co-operative multiplayer, Gladiator mode. The feature was supposed to be ready for its November 2013 launch, but was delayed and now it has been completely culled.
"After careful consideration, we have decided to cease development on Ryse: Son of Rome's challenge editor and focus on improving and expanding fans' experience with the game through both free content updates and purchased add-on packs," Microsoft spokesperson told Polygon.
However, Crytek recently revealed that it will be rolling out Mars' Chosen DLC pack for the game that will bring in new game modes, new character skin and maps from 28 February.
Ryse: Son of Rome was released on 22 November, 2013 exclusively for Xbox One.

How to gain Infinite Experience (XP)
- Players will have to play Mission 3: Trial By Fire
- XP bonus must be set using D-pad Right
- Keep playing the game till you reach a time when the battle reaches the shore and you see ships crashing on the beach
- Now try to score the highest combo possible
- If you gain high combos then you get more XP
- Once the battle is over, and you are asked to take the tower, kill yourself with the help of archers
- The game starts all over from the beginning
- Repeat this until you have the desired XPs.
- About 10 battles have to be fought before a player can max out the character
- Set the difficulty mode to Legendary to earn more XP
- If a player wants to get all the locked upgrades then he needs 250,000 XP
