Anushka Shetty, who is awaiting the release of her upcoming film "Rudramadevi", met music maestro Ilayaraja in Chennai on Monday, 20 March.
Anushka met the legend, who is busy composing the background score for Anushka's upcoming film, in Chennai.
The actress expressed her happiness at meeting Ilayaraja. "I am a great fan of Ilayaraja since my childhood. I was my desire to meet him and get his blessings," she said, according to TamilStar.
Recently, the makers of the 3D historic film launched the audio and trailer of the Telugu-Tamil film, which is in its post-production stage.
While the theatrical trailer was premiered during a function held at Prasad's IMAX in Hyderabad on 28 February, the audio was launched at a star-studded event in Warangal on 22 March.
The film, helmed by Gunasekhar, also has Allu Arjun, Krishnam Raju, Rana Daggubati, Prakash Raj, Adithya Menon, Nithya Menon, Baba Sehgal and Catherine Tresa in pivotal roles.
