After a 2-day flash sale on 10 and 11 August, the Lenovo K3 Note will return on 19 August for its weekly flash sale fashion.

During this week's open sale, buyers could buy the K3 Note without registration on Flipkart. But that is set to change now, as the 19 August sale will require pre-registration to participate.

Lenovo's official online sales partner, Flipkart, will continue to host the weekly flash sale next Wednesday. In the wake of a 2-day flash sale this week, the company skipped its K3 Note flash sale that was supposed to go live today.

Registrations for the next K3 Note sale are open now and interested buyers must register before midnight on 18 August. The black and white coloured K3 Note smartphones will be sold separately at 12pm and 3pm, respectively.

Lenovo also listed the yellow hued K3 Note during its open sale on Flipkart , but it has since been withdrawn. The Flipkart listing for the yellow K3 Note shows the handset is out of stock and there is no sign of the limited edition model returning anytime soon.

The Lenovo K3 Note has topped several lists of worthy budget smartphones under Rs. 10,000.

It is powered by a 64-bit 1.7GHz MediaTek octa-core processor, 5.5-inch Full HD display, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage, 3,000mAh battery and Android 5.0.2 Lollipop OS. These specs make it more appealing at Rs. 9,999, the current price of the Lenovo K3 Note.

The Chinese tech company has sold more than 2.5 lakh units of the K3 Note, excluding the handsets sold during the 2-day open sale.
