One of the best under-Rs 5,000 smartphones in India, the Micromax Canvas Spark, will go on sale tomorrow, 5 August, exclusively via Snapdeal at 12 noon.

The ultra-cheap smartphone will be available briefly. Prospective buyers must register for the sale by 8 pm tonight or wait till next week to purchase the affordable Canvas Spark.

Micromax has reminded all its fans about the upcoming flash sale on Twitter.

The Canvas Spark brings great value at extremely low price. The specs offered in the handset for such a low price makes it one of the most appealing budget smartphones in the market.

It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Cortex A7 MediaTek MT6582M processor, 1GB LPDDR3 RAM and 8GB expandable memory up to 32GB.

The handset features a 4.7-inch qHD display offering 960x540 pixel resolution, which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

On the camera front, the Canvas Spark sports an 8-megapixel rear-facing sensor with flash and a 2MP front facing snapper. The handset runs on Google's latest Android 5.0 Lollipop and packs a 2,000mAh battery that promises up to 7 hours of talk time.

The handset also taps into the local crowd with its appealing 21-langauge support along with Reverie language pack.

The Micromax Canvas Spark competes with the likes of Huwaei Honor Bee, Moto E and InFocus M2, all of which fall under the same Rs. 4,999 price category.
