The fans of Fox's new medical procedural drama "Rosewood" might get to learn more about detective Annalise Villa (Jaina Lee Ortiz) in the third episode, titled "Have-Nots and Hematomas", which will be telecasted at 8pm on Wednesday, 7 October.

The second episode ended by showing the female protagonist seeking professional help for quick temper. Although the detective was very adamant and decides to consult a psychologist only due to compulsion from Captain Ira Hornstock (Domenick Lombardozzi), she may narrate her back story to the doctor in the upcoming sequel.

But since the description of episode 3 does not have any details about the personal life of Villa, the fans will have to wait until 7 October to know more about it.

The official synopsis of "Have-Nots and Hematomas" read: "A series of mysterious deaths pulls Dr Beaumont Rosewood (Morris Chestnut ) off the glamorous promenades of South Beach when a troubled young genius stands accused of murder, and the only one who believes in his innocence is the private pathologist".

So the protagonist must contend with a colourful new adversary, escalating health problems and a burgeoning romantic relationship, while Villa's inability to connect with people hampers her own ability to investigate the case.

Other cast members to appear in the third episode include Lorraine Toussaint as Donna Rosewood, Gabrielle Dennis as Pippy Rosewood, Anna Konkle as Tara Milly Izikoff, Rasheeda Frost as Scrumptious, Nicole Ari Parker as Kat, Shaan Sharma as Diego and Adam Lazarre White as Delroy Ellis.

Fox will air "Rosewood" episode 3, titled "Have-Nots and Hematomas", at 8pm on Wednesday, 7 October.
