Rob Kardashian has been grabbing headlines ever since he was spotted in LAX airport last month while flying out to Paris to attend sister Kim Kardashian's wedding. While it was his weight gain that initially caught the media's attention, Rob's decision to ditch his sister's wedding highlighted the fact that all is not well with the Kardashian clan.
Rob gave the wedding a miss after he was reportedly mocked by Kim over his weight gain as she felt that his not-so-perfect figure would ruin her wedding photographs.
But if a new Star magazine report is to be believed, Rob's mother, Kris Jenner, might be the reason why he skipped the wedding.
"Everyone thinks he skipped the wedding because of Kim, but it's him mom who makes him feel terrible," a source told Star magazine, reported Radar Online.
"Rob is spiraling out of control and it's all his mother's fault. The world thinks the Kardashians are so happy, but Kris treats Rob like dirt. He says she's a monster."
The source added that although it was Kim who started picking up faults with Rob, Jenner echoed her sentiments and made matters worse.
"Kris says he's the only one of her kids who is an embarrassment — an obese person with a failed sock line," the source said. "Rob needs to stop lying and own up to the fact that he has issues. Until he admits to his problems, he's not going to get better."
But Rob's actions suggest that he has a friendly relationship with his mother as well as his family. Although he initially unfollowed everyone but his mother and sister Kylie from Twitter, the 27-year-old went back to following his other siblings on the microblogging site, indicating that they have patched up their differences.
As of Thursday, he was following 20 people and had tweeted 22 messages.
In the meantime, an In Touch magazine report stated that Rob might be plotting revenge against his family for all the humiliation by planning a tell-all that will expose all their secrets.
The book is expected to reveal the details of Kim's various plastic surgery procedures, another sex tape that could ruin the family, the identity of Khloe's real father, and Kourtney's partner Scott Disick's other woman, Celeb Dirty Laundry reported.
