With one last episode left in season 6 before the show goes on a summer break, detectives Jane Rizzoli (Angie Harmon) and Maura Isles (Sasha Alexander) take a trip to Los Angeles. And in all likelihood, we will see them in the sandy shores of the west coast until this season wraps up.
In season 6, episode 11 of "Fake It Till You Make It", Jane and Maura are confronted with the death of a man in Boston who is linked to a similar death in Los Angeles. The two decide to investigate and fly down to Los Angeles.
Meanwhile, Angela (Lorraine Bracco) and Korsak (Bruce McGill) have a double date with their partners. This will be the first time we will see Korsak's life coach/girlfriend, Kiki (Christina Chang). Angela will introduce her boyfriend Ron (Gregory Harrison).
In the promo for episode 11, Maura, the medical examiner seems to fall in love with Los Angeles. As she and her best friend, Jane, walk along the beach, Maura says, "Can you see yourself living here?" Evidently, Jane is out of place and says, "I hate Los Angeles."
A few clips later, the two stumble upon a man walking his pet on the beach. Does the clip present a spoiler regarding his role in episode 11?
Going by the title, "Fake It Till You Make It", we can guess that Jane is most probably going to strike a relationship with the pet walker to unearth more information about the killer. Recently, TV Guide predicted that Jane will get entangled in a messy affair.
"It takes a while to figure out what's going on. When they do figure out what's going on, it'll take a while to catch the perpetrator. It will become increasingly clear that Jane is in danger. There will be some fun elements involving Jane getting a bodyguard, things like that. We want to give her a meaningful nemesis in addition to these [standalone episodes]," the article read.
The TV show will air on Tuesday, 25 August at 9pm on TNT.
