After Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, director Sanjay Gupta released the first look of Irrfan Khan of his upcoming film "Jazbaa."
Sanjay Gupta shared the poster on his Twitter handle with the caption "HERE IT IS. Presenting Irrfan in JAZBAA."
The "Piku" actor has a tough and an angry-young-man look in the latest poster of "Jazbaa."
Irrfan, Aishwarya and Shabana Azmi are in pivotal roles in the action thriller.
"Aish is a discovery for me. Whatever I knew about her was through the media. She is much more than the perception created about her by the media. She is much more humane, down to earth, caring and eager to explore her side to an actor," The Indian Express quoted Irrfan as saying.
The former Miss World and Gupta unveiled the first look of the film at Cannes Film Festival 2015. Aishwarya, who attends the prestigious festival every year, arrived this year as well with her comeback flick "Jazbaa".
Going by the first-look poster, the film promises to have some gripping scenes. It features the Bachchan Bahu, who is seen in pain while scrabbling in the dust. The actress, dressed in black, looks quite determined to reach her goal.
"Jazbaa" is a female-centric film that will see Aishwarya play the role of a lawyer and perform some high octane, never-seen-before action sequences. Irrfan Khan will play the role of a suspended cop who has problems with authority and discipline.
The film is a remake of South Korean crime drama "Seven Days" and will hit theatres on 9 October.
