Guwahati, June 28 (ANI): Residents in Assam now face an uphill task in overcoming the adversity of floods that submerged residential areas and forced people to take shelter in relief camps set up by the government. The team of National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) has evacuated nearly 10,000 people. Deputy Commandant of NDRF, Manohar Singh, said on Saturday the people in the region should be careful as there are chances of electrical hazards post floods. Reportedly, seven people have died in the floods that have affected 25,000 people. Exasperated residents have urged the government to take safety measures.
