Mandi, June 10 (ANI): Teams of National Disaster Response Force, Indian Army and armed border force continued their search operations on Tuesday (June 10) for missing students who were swept away by gushing waters of Beas river following the discharge of water from a dam in Himachal Pradesh. Sub-Divisional Officer of Mandi and rescue team coordinator, D.R. Dhiman, said the rescue and relief operations are underway and to speedup the process the dam water level has also been reduced. The sudden increase in water level was caused by water being released from a reservoir attached to an upstream hydropower project.
