French auto maker Renault's Kwid is getting ready to make its entry in the Indian car market during the festive season this year.

The model, which is currently undergoing its final test runs on Indian roads, has already made numerous appearances on the web through photos, typically spy shots, apart from real-life images.

The latest one is a video with the Kwid small car, giving a closer look into Renault's latest offering, which has been getting attention since its inception.

In the 9-second video, which was uploaded on YouTube by a user named Lokesh Kumar, a white body painted Kwid shows its road presence; the model looks more like an SUV.

The Renault Kwid, which will take on the likes of Maruti Alto K10 and Hyundai Eon in India, is based on the all-new platform, CMF-A, and is expected to pack features such as optional air bags, Media Nav multimedia and navigation system with Bluetooth connectivity.

Under the hood, Kwid is expected to get 800 cc three-cylinder petrol mill and churn out 57bhp power with either a five-speed gearbox or AMT. The Kwid could also get a 1.0-litre petrol engine with both manual and automated manual transmission (AMT) options. The model is expected to be priced in the range of Rs 3 lakh to Rs 4 lakh.
