Renault Kwid 1.0 litre: Full specifications, price, bookings, mileage and all you need to know

French car-maker Renault launched the new avatar of its much-acclaimed model, the Kwid, in India on Aug. 22. The Kwid 1.0 litre, which comes with new powerful 1.0L SCe engine, has been priced at Rs. 3.83 lakh (ex-showroom).

The compact hatchback is offered in two variants. The Kwid 1.0 litre packs 999cc 3-cylinder engine that can churn out 67bhp of power at 5500rpm and 91Nm of torque at 4250rpm. Renault Kwid is offered with 50,000 km/2 years warranty, which can be extended up to 80,000 km/4 years and complementary road side assistance for two years. The Kwid 1.0 litre claims to deliver a mileage of 23.01 kmpl.

At Renault, we are committed to continuous innovation and we are happy to launch the Renault Kwid 1.0L SCe today," Sumit Sawhney, Country CEO and Managing Director, Renault India Operations, said at the launch.

The new Kwid 1.0 litre looks the same as its 0.8L version in terms of style and design. The hatchback with SUV-stance packs features such as seven-inch touchscreen media navigation system, digital Instrument cluster, dual-tone grey ORVMs and pro-sense seat belt pretensioners. It offers driver airbag as an optional feature.

The Kwid 1.0 litre is available for bookings. The company is expected to start the delivery soon.
