Renault India has launched limited edition model of its popular SUV Duster, christened as Duster Explore.

The Limited edition will be sold in 84bhp RXL Explore and 108bhp RXL Explore variants, priced at Rs 9.99 lakh and Rs 11.10 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) respectively.

The changes in the limited edition concentrates only on the visual appeal. The vehicle gets chrome grill in slightly darker shade, smoked headlamps and a bull bar with skid plates.

A pair of extra fog lamps is fitted on the bull bar. The limited editions sports decals at the bottom doors and over the hood.

The black shade treatment is extended to alloy wheels, roof rails and for the strip at the tail gate. The outside rear view mirrors (ORVMs) also get black shade with a touch of orange color.

The interior is spruced up with orange and black dual-tone combination. The seat fabrics, door panels, dashboard, instrument cluster and floor mats receives the new color combination. Duster Explore also boasts of features such as eco mode, gearshift indicator and cruise control with speed limiter.

No mechanical changes meaning the SUV will be powered by the same by 1.5-litre dCi engine developing power in two state of tune. The basic version develops 84bhp and 200Nm mated to 5-speed manual transmission, while the higher tuned version develops 108bhp and 245Nm mated to 6-speed manual transmission.

"We are confident that the Duster will continue to be the benchmark in this category and the newly-launched limited edition Duster Explore will further build the Duster brand in India," Renault India CEO and managing director Sumit Sawhney said in a statement.
