French carmaker Renault has launched a new petrol-powered Duster in India with automatic gearbox. The new Duster petrol CVT has been priced at Rs 10.32 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
The new petrol Duster is powered by 1.5L H4K engine that churns out 106hp at 5,600rpm and 142Nm of torque at 4,000rpm. The Duster X-Tronic CVT delivers an ARAI certified fuel efficiency of 14.99kmpl. In the manual transmission, the new Renault Duster with the petrol powertrain delivers an ARAI certified fuel efficiency of 14.19 kmpl.
The new Duster is available in two trim levels – RXE and RXL. Duster CVT comes with easy selection drive modes – P (Park), R (Reverse), N (Neutral), D (Drive) and a 6 speed manual mode option. It comes in new Red paint shade in addition to the existing colours - Pearl white, Slate grey, Woodland brown, Bronze Dore, Silver, Orange cayenne. It features steering mounted audio and phone controls, rear reading lamps, gear shift indicator, electrically adjustable Outside Rear View Mirrors and trip meter with multi-information display.
The new Duster petrol range hosts safety features including ABS, EBD with brake assist, rapid deceleration warning, engine immobiliser, remote central locking, driver Airbags in MT variants, driver and passenger airbags in CVT variant, ESP and Hill start assist in CVT variant.
