Intex is one of many smartphone brands in India that has disrupted the competition by taking it to a whole new level. By offering affordable smartphones packed with premium features, Intex has been able to gain credibility in the Indian smartphone market. The company is continuing to build on its popularity by launching a new low-cost phone best suited for budget shoppers.

Intex Aqua E4 is the latest one to join the company's extensive Aqua series. Like every smartphone has its own USP, the Aqua E4 comes with 4G VoLTE support. Unless you've been under the rock for the past few weeks, demand for integrated VoLTE support shot through the roof after Reliance Jio offered unlimited HD voice calls for free.

Although Jio users can take advantage of free HD voice calls without VoLTE support by installing a separate app, there have been complaints regarding its inconsistency. When VoLTE is integrated within a smartphone, the performance has proven to be better, despite Jio's lack of voice call coverage.

Intex Aqua E4 can be just the handset budget shoppers in India are looking for in order to take advantage of Jio's free unlimited voice calls as well as 4G data. Besides, the handset doesn't cost much and shoppers can easily afford it.

Intex Aqua E4 will be available exclusively on Shopclues starting Friday for Rs 3,333. Interested buyers can register for the sale before 4 p.m. on November 24 and get Rs 100 off on their purchase. The discount will be applied at the time of check out using a coupon code, which will be sent to buyer's email.

In terms of specifications, the Aqua E4 isn't too bad. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box. The handset sports a 4-inch TFT display, a 2MP rear-facing camera with dual-LED flash and a 2MP front snapper with Face Beauty Mode for selfies. It is powered by a quad-core processor, which is paired with 1GB RAM and 8GB ROM with microSD card support up to 32GB.

There are dual SIM card slots, but users must have the Jio SIM in the primary slot in order to use data and free calls. The handset is powered by a 1,800mAh battery.
