Mahesh Babu's "One - Nenokkadine" is all set to release on 10 January, 2014.

Earlier, there were reports that "One - Nenokkadine" would be released in September this year. But it seems the makers are planning to release it for Sankranti next year.

It may be recalled that Mahesh's past releases including "Businessman" and "Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu" ("SVSC") made it to the theatres during Sankranti. The festive season has proved lucky for the handsome hunk as some of his films which were released during Sankranti in the last two years have become blockbusters.

Interestingly, Mahesh Babu's films have faced strong competition from other big hits during Sankranti. For instance, "Businessman" clashed with Venkatesh's "Bodyguard", a remake of a Malayalam film of the same name. Mahesh's film raked in better collections than "Bodyguard", particularly in the US markets. Similarly, Ram Charan's "Naayak" took over "SVSC" during this year's Sankranti. Though "Naayak" performed well, the film's collections were not as good as "SVSC" at the US box office, according to Jeevi, editor and reviewer of idlebrain.com.

It remains to be seen if any Telugu film featuring a big star would clash with Mahesh's "One - Nenokkadine" next year.

The film has already generated a lot of buzz, thanks to Mahesh's star power and interesting teasers. A new teaser of the film (watch here) was released recently and it fetched good viewership. The teaser was launched on the eve of Mahesh's birthday on 9 August. The 32-second video took the internet by storm with more than eight lakh views ever since it was released on YouTube.

The first teaser, which was released on superstar Krishna's birthday (Mahesh's father) in May, also received a grand response from film buffs.

Directed by Sukumar, "One - Nenokkadine" is said to be a psychological thriller. The film has Kriti Sanon, Kelly Dorji, Nassar, Pradeep Rawat and Sayaji Shinde in supporting roles. Mahesh Babu's son is playing the younger version of the actor in the flashback portions of the film.
