Red Bulls F1 drivers Max Verstappen and Daniel Ricciardo tried their hand at a new form of racing on 8 June, as the pair took some time out before the Canadian Grand Prix.

Flying drones round Montreals Olympic Stadium, the aces tested their reaction speeds and hand-to-eye co-ordination – with mixed success.

Despite being an expert F1 driver, Ricciardo managed to crash his drone multiple times.

We are in the Olympic Stadium in Montreal and we have a big space to fly them safely, but I still managed to lose mine somewhere in the grandstand. Hopefully they find it otherwise I will be buying someone a new drone, joked the Australian.

Verstappen is hoping to repeat the success he had at the Spanish Grand Prix on Canadian soil. Racing in Barcelona on the Circuit de Catalunya, he became the youngest ever winner in a Formula One car.
