Taylor Swift has previously admitted that she has no problems with her girl squad dating her exes. But now, it looks like the rules of the games have changed for the "Wildest Dreams" singer. If the latest reports are anything to go by, then it looks like DJ Calvin Harris' girlfriend is feeling all betrayed and shocked with the news of Kendall Jenner-Harry Styles reunion.
The "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star and the One Direction singer sparked reunion romance rumours after they were spotted getting intimate and packing in PDA on a luxury yacht at St Barts. And this, apparently hasn't gone down too well with the "Bad Blood" singer.
"Taylor heard from a mutual friend that Harry and Kendall are back together and she is completely shocked. She can't believe that Kendall would actually date Harry, especially after their last conversation when she said she would never, ever get involved with him again," a source told Hollywood Life (via OK!).
The source told the website that Taylor and Kendall bonded over dissing Harry and that is the real reason as to why the singer is furious and feeling betrayed. "Taylor and Kendall actually bonded over dissing Harry and comparing notes on him. The fact that Harry and Kendall are celebrating New Year's Eve together is beyond weird to Taylor. She really can't trust anything that Kendall tells her, not now that she's back with Harry," the source added.
Now that Tay is dating Calvin Harris for over 10 months and reports suggest that the couple is all set to get engaged and is planning a lavish wedding, Taylor's reaction has come as a surprise to many.
In the past, Taylor has mentioned that she is cool with the girls from her squad dating her exes. She had once said, "It's almost like the sisterhood has such a higher place on the list of priorities for us. We even have girls in our group who have dated the same people. It's so much more important than some guy that it didn't work out with... And just because you have the same taste in men, we don't hold that against each other."
In fact, she was all fine when Gigi Hadid was dating Joe Jonas. So, what could have probably gone wrong now that the rules of the game changed for the singer? The only reason Swifties think Taylor would be so upset is because she wants to play by the rules of feminism — either she is not over Harry Styles or she is seriously not ok with one of her BFFs dating her ex.
And now, if there is any truth in Kendall-Harry romance rumours, then it looks like Taylor Swift may actually disown the model from her girl squad.
