Zinedine Zidane's Real Madrid enter the FIFA World Cup 2016 as major favourites in the semi-final clash against Club America, one of the biggest football sides from Mexico. The likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, Sergio Ramos and Toni Kroos are all available for the game at the International Stadium in Yokohama, Japan.

Real Madrid last won the Club World Cup in 2014 and could very well repeat the feat this year. Going by the recent results, the Los Blancos -- defending champions of the UEFA Champions League -- are simply unstoppable. Zidane's men haven't lost a single match in the La Liga this season so far; they are on a 35-match unbeaten streak and with every game, their confidence seems to get higher.

If the Spanish giant win Thursday's encounter, they take on Japan's Kashima Antlers in the final of the FIFA Club World Cup 2016 on Sunday. The Japanese side earlier defeated Atletico Nacional -- the same team that was scheduled to play Chapecoense in the Copa Scudamericana finals 2016 -- in their semi-final game.

America, meanwhile, enter the game at the back of a 2-1 win over Jeonbuk Motors in their previous Club World Cup 2016 game.

Previous encounter: Real Madrid 3-2 Club America (August 2010).

Schedule

Real Madrid vs Club America 2016 is set to get under way at 5:30 am EST (4 pm IST, 10:30 am GMT) on December 15.
