New Delhi, July 11 (ANI): The TRAI Amendment Act to be presented in Lok Sabha has invited political reactions. After reports of Congress opposing the bill in Parliament, BJP had issued a whip to all its MPs to be present when the government will present the bill. Telecom Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said that the bill is being presented on the basis of merit and hoped that it would be passed in both houses. BJP leader Rajiv Pratap Rudy said that it was an amendment which needed to be modified every six months and added that the government needed to change laws. Meanwhile CPI leader D Raja said that an ordinance needs to be replaced by the legislation. The bill has been tabled in the Lok Sabha.
