Director Aashiq Abu's upcoming film "Rani Padmini" with Manju Warrier and Rima Kallingal in the lead roles has been in the news ever since it went on floors.
The women centric film tells the story of two women who are on a trip to Himachal Pradesh for different purposes. While Manju will be seen in the title role of Rani, the "22 Female Kottayam" actress Rima will portray the role of Padmini.
Music label Muzik247 has released the audio tracks of the four songs in the film, composed by Bijibal and penned by Rafeeq Ahammed and Nellai Jayantha. The songs have been sung by Shwetha Menon, Devdutt, Lola, Chithra Arun, Soumya Ramakrishnan and Sayanora.

The film also has Sajitha Madathil, Jinu Joseph, Sreenath Bhasi, Soubin Shahir, Dileesh Pothan, Binu Pappu, Rajitha Madhu and Hareesh Khanna in significant roles.
While Syam Pushkaran and Ravi Sankar have scripted the adventure drama, Madhu Neelakandan has handled the cinematography.
Produced by P M Harris and V S Muhammed Althaf under the banner of Fort Entertainment, "Rani Padmini" will hit theatres on 23 October. The film is expected to lock horns with Mohanlal's thriller film "Kanal", directed by M Padmakumar.
