Yash Raj Films' head honcho Aditya Chopra's wife and Bollywood actress Rani Mukherji was recently admitted to a hospital due to health issues. Rani, who is pregnant, was tired due to Diwali celebrations over the weekend and needed medical attention.

Mid-Day quoting an onlooker reported that the "Mardaani" actress was extremely tired, but she is fine now and has been advised bed rest. Rani was left exhausted after attending some Diwali parties thrown by Bollywood celebs. The actress recently attended a Diwali party where she was seen taking selfies with her "Chori Chori Chupke Chupke" co-star Preity Zinta.

"Rani Mukerji was admitted to a hospital as the doctor felt she needed to rest for a few days under medical supervision. She was being discharged, but chose to rest it the hospital for a few more days as the baby's room is being prepared at home and she wanted to be away from the dust and noise. She is perfectly fine and all is well," Mid-Day quoted Rani's spokesperson as saying.

Aditya and Rani got married in a private ceremony in April 2014. Later that year, Rani made her comeback with "Mardaani" movie, but after that, she has avoided media glare.

In August, there were reports that Rani is pregnant, which was later confirmed by her sister-in-law Jyoti Mukerji. Rani, who is a regular at Durga Puja celebrations, missed the event this year.
