Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone's real-life affair might cease to exist now but the latter's wish still holds importance for Ranbir.

The two former love birds have been busy these days for the promotions of their upcoming movie "Tamasha" and their next destination is Delhi, to which they decided to travel in a train.

Ranbir's former girlfriend expressed her wish to travel by train as she had not done so in a very long time, said a statement.

When Ranbir learnt about this wish of his "Tamasha" co-star, he immediately got on to make the arrangements, the statement added. The flight tickets to Delhi were cancelled and the team booked an overnight train instead.

Deepika and her ex-boyfriend boarded the train on Sunday afternoon from Mumbai and were very excited to kick-start their journey via public transport.

The duo absorbed a firsthand experience of local life as they walked through the platform and waited at the station master's office for the arrival of their train.

Directed by Imtiaz Ali, the movie "Tamasha" is slated to be released on 27 November.
