"Baahubali" actor Rana Daggubati is reportedly set to team up with his uncle Victory Venkatesh in his forthcoming movie, which is directed by "Kshanam" fame Ravikanth Perepu.

The Telugu audience have been eagerly waiting to see Rana Daggubati with Venkatesh on screen, ever since he made his acting debut. However, the urge for such a film has grown bigger after the release of Akkineni family film, "Manam." In fact, Rana himself had expressed his wish to work with his uncle when quizzed about his dream role in an interview, but he had revealed his concern over a suitable script.

If we are to go by the reports, Rana Daggubati's dream will come true soon as director Ravikanth Perepu has approached him and his uncle Venkatesh with a right script, which is a new-age drama and a take on relationships of today. Both the actors are impressed with his script and have agreed to work with each other in the project.

"Rana was impressed by "Kshanam" and decided to team up with Ravikanth. It was at a later juncture that he developed a story to include Venkatesh as well. The director has narrated the story to both and they seem keen. A few changes have been discussed as well," a source in the know told Hyderabad Times.

"It is known that Venky is very particular about changes he wants; only if he is satisfied, will things move ahead," the source added.

If everything falls in place with the project, the audience will get to see another big family union on the big screen after "Manam." "Rana is keen that things work out and feels this could be the perfect 'family project' that everyone has been waiting for since several years now," the source said.

Rana Daggubati has four projects and he has wrapped up one of them. He is set to begin the filming for "Baahubali 2." Venkatesh has two projects and he has almost completed the shooting for one of them. He is set to start with another film directed by Kishore Tirumala. Both the actors are expected to take up their first combo project after wrapping up their respective commitments.
